The GhostBSD Wiki is the source of information about the GhostBSD project and distribution.

The goal is to provide high quality documentation and a place for collaboration on all parts of the project. This is done in a well structured, standardized and easy readable way. Content is created, edited and refined by all community members.

Wiki goals

The primary objective of the GhostBSD Wiki is to provide documentation on the web for the GhostBSD user community. It is a world-wide project with many participants from all across the globe. The Wiki is constantly evolving and there is always room for improvement.


One of the objectives of the GhostBSD Wiki is to cover all aspects of using GhostBSD. From home use to doing office work, anything that can be done with GhostBSD should have its place in the Wiki.


The GhostBSD Wiki aims to offer a simple and intuitive way of accessing information. This is not a simple task, but it can be achieved.

How it works

This Wiki is maintained by GhostBSD developers and users. Users can edit and organize articles to offer readers the best in GhostBSD documentation. The content is created by the community and for the community: Articles represent a cumulative effort of many people who correct erroneous information, update outdated articles and otherwise keep improving the GhostBSD Wiki content.

How you can help

The GhostBSD Wiki is maintained by volunteers. There are never too many maintainers and help is always welcome. If you feel capable of editing wiki pages, consider donating any amount of your time and energy to improve documentation for the community.
