In GhostBSD, software can be install with pkg_add or pkg-install or software-station:
- The
pkg_add
command is used to extract pre-built binary packages from a local file or from a remote server on the network. - There are over 32,000 applications in GhostBSD's Ports. These applications can be readily accessed via software-station.
