[[pc-sysinstall]] is used by [[GBI]].

It is still used (and maintained) for [[TrueOS]] (the follow-up of [[PC-BSD]]). We also trying to improve [[pc-sysinstall]].

== History ==

[[pc-sysinstall]] was created for [[PC-BSD]].

[[pc-sysinstall]] was a port of [[FreeBSD]] (till 2014).<ref>https://www.freshports.org/sysutils/pc-sysinstall/</ref> Because [[pc-sysinstall]] was (and is) included as part of the [https://www.freshports.org/sysutils/pcbsd-utils/ port ''pcbsd-utils''] it  was deleted<ref>https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports?view=revision&revision=359125</ref> as a separate own port.
