Introduction

The Main Page is the starting point to the GhostBSD ecosystem. The goal is, to connect all pages, information, manuals, news, releases, experiences, know-how, applications and so on related to GoastBSD with in this wiki.

Project

The GhostBSD project is a worldwide effort that promotes the use of BSD everywhere. GhostBSD creates a simple, elegant desktop BSD Operating System, working together in an open, transparent and friendly manner as part of the worldwide Free and Open Source Software community.

The project is controlled by its community and relies on the contributions of individuals, working as testers, writers, translators, usability experts, artists and/or developers. The project embraces a wide variety of technology, people with different levels of expertise, speaking different languages and having different cultural backgrounds.

Related Projects Networkmgr Networkmgr is a graphical tool for network management for FreeBSD, TrueOS, DragonFlyBSD and GhostBSD. gbi Graphical BSD installer (gbi) is a GTK graphical front-end of pc-sysinstall installer developed for GhostBSD. pc-sysinstall pc-sysinstall is a back-end installer which is in FreeBSD, developed by TrueOS, GhostBSD and Project Trident.
